Mission Statement
There are 2500 people-groups who do not have the Bible in their language yet... TruthAction plans to reach the children. Reach a child... reach a family... and reach a people!

Materials
Custom illustrated & designed materials- in every language possible. 1. The story of Christ from creation to the cross. Little laminated booklets with carabiners that will survive harsh conditons anywhere on the planet. These are printed and assembled with volunteers from churches across America. 2. An animated Powerpoint presentation, with the same characters from the booklet that "mysteriously" move across the screen. 3. And for villages where electricity is not available, a pocket chart teaching system that can easity be backpacked or carried to any location on the planet. The same characters and scenes (some 60 plus pieces) from the booklets are enlarged, printed, cut out, laminated for waterproofing, and measured and cut out again. After the presentation, children and adults (who love the booklets as much as the children) are given their own copy of The Greatest Story Ever which is made especially just for their culture and people-group.

Evangelism
To the few who are skeptical about a ministry sharing the Gospel to third world countries we would ask this question in response: Shouldn't all people of the world have a right to hear the Gospel story and decide for themselves whether they believe it or not? Other religions are welcomed in America and they are free to share and the listeners are free to choose - shouldn't other peoples in other lands be given the same opportunity? But some say, "it's not fair, they might believe what you are saying just because you are Americans and then change their culture." Our response is that human beings around the planet have the same intelligence and ability to discern what's true and what isn't and that we don't seek to change anyone's culture, rather TruthAction celebrates the many cultural differences around the world. For example, in order to make an Asian booklet more culturally relevant, we put a nose-bead on the little girl as well as illustrating her in her people's traditional clothing. There is a difference between forcing or tricking people to convert to a religion and presenting the story of the Bible in a simple and understandable way that lets them decide for themselves. We believe all should be given that chance just like we are given that chance here in America. God bless you as you share His story wherever you may go.
